Hello, friends!
Did anyone else enjoy that "false spring" we had so much a couple of weeks ago that it's making it extra hard to get through the rest of winter now? Sound familiar? If so, you are not alone. That tease of warm weather, no jackets, perhaps some flip flops, and outside dining/drinks was glorious and painful all at the same time, knowing that it wouldn't last. Perhaps it's a good reminder that change is all around us all of the time.
Change is an inevitable part of life, and from a yoga perspective, it is seen as a natural flow of energy that allows us to grow, learn, and transform. Just like the breath moves in and out, life constantly shifts, bringing moments of joy and challenges. Yoga teaches us to embrace these changes with mindfulness and acceptance,
understanding that every experience, whether high or low, is part of our journey toward balance and self-awareness. The ups bring expansion, and the downs offer lessons in patience and resilience. In this way, we can find peace in the impermanence of life, knowing that each moment is an opportunity for growth and deeper connection with ourselves. Through practice, we learn to remain centered amidst the changes, trusting that they are all part of the greater flow of existence.
So until Mother Nature brings the warmth our way again, I'm hoping you can find creative ways to endure a couple more weeks of winter temps and rain and find your center.
Much love,
