Hello, friends!
As we turn the page into a new month, we step into that familiar season of change—back to school, the slow farewell to summer, and all the quiet (and sometimes not-so-quiet) transitions that come with this time of year. The air begins to shift, schedules realign, and we’re invited to find new rhythms that support us.
This month, I’ll be adjusting my own rhythm as well. I’m carving out some intentional space to focus on family and to reset—much like we pause between breaths in practice, allowing for stillness before moving forward with clarity. Please visit my Instagram/FB pages for schedule changes.
Lately, I’ve been noticing the sunflowers that linger in late summer fields and gardens. They are such a powerful reminder: to be strong, to stand tall, and always to turn toward the light. Even as the days grow shorter, they instinctively follow the sun, finding nourishment and direction in its warmth. I think there’s wisdom there for all of us during this season of transition.
Whatever changes this time of year brings into your life, my hope for you is that you find moments to pause, breathe deeply, and fully experience each step along the way. There’s no need to rush—life is not a race but a practice. Like the sunflower, you can trust yourself to orient toward what sustains you, one steady breath at a time.
Thank you for continuing to share your presence and practice with me. May this season of transition be gentle, grounding, and filled with awareness.
with gratitude,

I’ll be in the Studio for morning classes in Lake Oswego as well as some evening classes in Tigard.
In collaboration with Yoga+Beer, I’ll be leading practice at Twill Cellars and Breakside Brewing in Sept.
